Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present. Heel pain may also be due to other causes, such as a stress fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve irritation, or, rarely, a cyst.
Bunions (also referred to as hallux valgus or hallux abducto valgus) are often described as a bump on the side of the big toe. But a bunion is more than that. The visible bump actually reflects changes in the bony framework of the front part of the foot.
Toenail fungus, or onychomycosis, is an infection underneath the surface of the nail caused by fungi. When the tiny organisms take hold, the nail often becomes darker in color and smells foul.
Ingrown nails, the most common nail impairment, are nails whose corners or sides dig painfully into the soft tissue of nail grooves, often leading to irritation, redness, and swelling. The big toe is the most common location for this condition, but other toes can also become affected.
Prescription foot orthosis is an in-shoe brace which is designed to correct for abnormal foot and lower extremity function (the lower extremity includes the foot, ankle, leg, knee, thigh and hip).

"When I arrived and walked in to sign in Amelia, the receptionist gave me a great, big, beautiful smile, and was very welcoming. The nurse Diane she had a sense of humor that was out of this world! She was awesome. And, of course, in walks this beautiful doctor with a beautiful smile and a beautiful personality. Took care of my foot problem and I'll be going back in about a month. I love this office the doctor and the employees."
"Dr. Verde is very pleasant and concentrates on solutions. I have been to other doctors for the same issue, but after one visit with Dr. Verde, I had more pain relief than I had with multiple visits from previous doctors. She listens to what I have to say, and takes action based upon my needs"
"Going to Dr. Verde was probably one of the best experiences I have had in a long time for a doctor visit. Front staff were kind, happy, and helpful. In addition, Dr. Verde's assistant was thorough and made sure she helped find a solution alongside Dr. Verde. All in all, they are a top shelf team and I am truly grateful to see them and go back for follow up appointments."
"Making the appointment was simple & hassle free. I liked the ability to complete registration electronically from home and not have the office request me to do it again in person. This was very convenient! The staff were all friendly & professional and took care to listen to me when explaining my problem and complicating factors. They were then able to and were careful to avoid causing any further discomfort. Instructions for after care were clear snd easy to understand. I never felt as if I was being rushed through. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Verde and her staff."
"This was my first time having an appointment with Dr. Verde and I was very pleased! I was able to be seen same day and had an urgent matter taken care of in the office and it was painless and done well. She was very nice and considerate of the fact that I'm breastfeeding when it came to prescribing medication. I would definitely recommend her for your podiatry needs!"
"Dr. Verde and her assistant were both very professional and easy to communicate with. Dr Verde was extremely responsive to my need and professionally carried out a procedure to both remedy the problem as well as alleviate my pain. Her assistant was at all times calming and communicative. Additionally the office staff was pleasant and responsive. "Dr. Verde and her staff were the epitome of medical professionalism, expertise and friendliness. Not only that, but when I called and requested the earliest appointment possible as I was in quite a bit of pain, they told me to come right in and they would squeeze me in. Wow, how accommodating. During my appointment, Dr. Verde took my mind off the pain with charming and pleasant conversation, I'm actually looking forward to my follow up visit. Again…wow! I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled considering how happy I was with the expert and hospitable treatment I received. Thanks and please keep up the great work!"
